Job summary

PediaStaff in Colorado Springs is seeking a School Social Worker for a full-time, in-person role serving elementary through high school students. You will provide direct social work services, support students with social-emotional and behavioral needs, and collaborate with teachers, families, and service providers.

The position runs Monday–Friday with an ASAP start through May 2027, offering a supportive team, trauma-informed approaches, and opportunities to contribute to IEPs and

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Work is required.
• Current Colorado Department of Education Special Services Provider License with School Social Worker endorsement.
• DORA license preferred.
• Experience supporting students with behavioral challenges, including aggression.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed practices.
• Experience with Enrich and the IEP process strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group social work services to students.
• Support students with social-emotional, behavioral, and mental health needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, related service providers, and families.
• Conduct assessments and maintain required documentation.
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.
• Develop and implement intervention strategies to promote student success.
• Utilize trauma-informed practices and behavior support strategies.
