Responsibilities

• Perform law enforcement duties to maintain security and order in a detention facility education setting.
• Provide security clearance for students entering secure areas.
• Conduct classroom and hallway walkthroughs and monitor surveillance equipment.
• Address disruptive or absent students and coordinate safety drills.
• Assist in planning student meetings and coordinating parent meetings.
• Engage in group discussions on law enforcement topics with students.
