Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, BLET certification, and passing POPAT, with at least two years of sworn law enforcement experience and a valid NC driver’s license.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• BLET Certification from NC CJ Standards Commission is required.
• Passing Police Officer POPAT is required.
• Minimum of two years sworn law enforcement experience.
• Valid NC Driver's License in Good Standing required.
• United States Citizen or Naturalized Citizen required.

Responsabilidades

• Perform general law enforcement duties as a school resource officer or within patrol operations.
• Patrol assigned areas, respond to incidents, and enforce laws in accordance with department policy.
• Develop positive relationships with students, staff, and the community to promote safety.
• Collaborate with school personnel and partners on safety education and crime-prevention initiatives.
• Prepare clear reports and work under supervision of a Police Sergeant.
