Job summary

Sweetwater Care is seeking an experienced School Psychologist to join our leadership team. You will provide counseling, conduct psycho-educational evaluations, and collaborate on IEPs with school leaders and Special Education teams to support teachers and students.

You will deliver professional development to staff, coordinate with families, and ensure all services meet state regulations while developing targeted programs for eligible students.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in educational or clinical psychology with internship.
• Valid School Psychologist Credential.
• Valid California driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Providing psychological counseling to students, parents, and staff.
• Conducting psycho-educational evaluations and developing reports.
• Observing pupils in classrooms and other school settings.
• Serving as member of the IEP team for students with psychological concerns.
• Administering and evaluating standard psychological tests when needed.
• Coordinating with school personnel and parents to develop appropriate programs.
• Ensuring services are performed in compliance with state laws and regulations.
