Job summary

Sweetwater Care is seeking an experienced School Psychologist to join our leadership team in California. The role focuses on supporting students academically and socially, advising on interventions, and collaborating with the Child Study Team and Special Education staff.

The School Psychologist will administer psychological assessments, participate in IEP planning, provide staff PD, and ensure compliance with state laws.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in educational or clinical psychology, with at least one year internship under supervision.
• Valid School Psychologist Credential.
• Valid California driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychological counseling to students, parents, and staff.
• Conduct psycho-educational evaluations and develop reports on findings.
• Collaborate on IEP teams and assist with goals and objectives per child’s educational plan.
• Administer and evaluate standard psychological tests to assess development when needed.
• Maintain appropriate records and coordinate with staff and families.
• Ensure all services comply with state laws and regulations.
