Job summary

Sweetwater Care in California is seeking an experienced School Psychologist to join the leadership team. You will work to meet student needs, provide academic advising, support social development, and partner with Child Study Team and Special Education teams to deliver on-campus expert guidance.

The role involves counseling students, families, and staff; performing psycho-educational evaluations; contributing to IEPs; coordinating with teachers and parents; and leading professional development

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in educational or clinical psychology with internship.
  • Valid School Psychologist Credential.
  • Valid California driver's license.
  • Experience conducting psycho-educational evaluations and providing counseling.

Responsibilities

  • Provide psychological counseling to students, parents, and staff.
  • Conduct psycho-educational evaluations and prepare reports.
  • Collaborate on the IEP team for students with psychological concerns.
  • Administer and interpret standard psychological tests when needed.
  • Coordinate with teachers and families to develop appropriate programs.
  • Maintain records and ensure compliance with state laws.
  • Provide professional development to teachers and staff.
