Job summary

Sweetwater Care is seeking an experienced School Psychologist to join our leadership team. You will provide psychological counseling, conduct psycho-educational evaluations, and collaborate with the Child Study Team and school leaders to support students’ academic and social development.

Responsibilities include serving on IEP teams, facilitating goals, administering tests as needed, and maintaining records while ensuring compliance with state laws and regulations.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Educational or clinical psychology with at least one year internship under supervision of a credentialed school psychologist.
• Valid School Psychologist Credential required.
• Valid California driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychological counseling to students, parents, and staff.
• Conduct psycho-educational evaluations and develop reports.
• Observe pupils in classrooms and school settings.
• Serve as member of the IEP team for students with psychological concerns.
• Facilitate goals per individual educational plan.
• Administer and evaluate standard psychological tests as needed.
• Maintain appropriate records and coordinate with staff and parents.
