Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a School Psychologist for a contract role serving students in the 26/27 school year. The psychologist will work onsite near Amarillo, TX, conducting psychoeducational evaluations, collaborating with educators and families, and participating in IEP meetings to support students' academic and emotional development.

Responsibilities include comprehensive assessments, developing evidence‑based interventions, and providing counseling as needed while maintaining compliance

Qualifications

• Valid School Psychologist credential or license per state requirements.
• Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
• Experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations.
• Familiarity with evaluation tools and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' strengths and areas needing support.
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide expert recommendations.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to address learning and behavioral challenges.
• Offer counseling and crisis intervention as needed.
• Design and implement evidence‑based interventions to promote social, emotional, and academic success.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with regulations and timelines.
