Job summary

Candor Consulting & Diagnostics is seeking a compassionate School Psychologist in Texas to assess students and coordinate supports within the ARD framework. You will conduct evaluations to determine eligibility for services, review results with families and district staff, and develop targeted interventions to boost learning and well-being.

You will also provide therapy under IEPs, monitor progress, and collaborate with the ARD team to ensure access to education.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher from an accredited School Psychology program.
• Active license to practice as a School Psychologist in Texas.
• Successful completion of an internship in School Psychology.
• Bilingual skills are preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Evaluations: Perform Psychological and/or Psycho-Educational evaluations to determine students’ eligibility for specialized services.
• Communicate Findings: Review evaluation results with parents and district personnel, offering clear and compassionate guidance.
• Develop Interventions: Design targeted, evidence-based therapeutic interventions with the ARD committee to enhance student performance and access to education.
• Provide Therapy: Deliver therapy services as outlined in students’ IEPs.
• Monitor Progress: Maintain accurate records of student progress and adjust interventions as needed.
• Support Team: Participate in ARD meetings and parent conferences to advocate for students’ needs.
