Job summary

ProCare Therapy seeks a dedicated School Psychologist to serve a diverse district on a contract basis. This onsite role covers district-wide assessments, consulting with educational teams and families to improve academic and behavioral outcomes.

The position requires NM licensure, a relevant master's/doctorate, and ability to travel between schools while maintaining a robust caseload and complying with district policies.

Qualifications

• Current NM PED School Psychologist License required.
• Masters degree or Doctorate in School Psychology or related field.
• Occupational experience as a School Psychologist or Diagnostician.
• Willing and able to travel between schools within the district.
• Strong knowledge of student assessment tools and consultative strategies.
• Effective communicator with staff, students, and families.
• Ability to manage a caseload with approximately 30-40 evaluations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough psychological and academic assessments for students.
• Collaborate with school staff to design interventions supporting student growth.
• Provide consultation and recommendations based on assessment results.
• Travel between multiple district schools as needed.
• Support students social, emotional, and behavioral development.
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and federal policies.
