The role emphasizes therapy under IEPs, accurate record-keeping, and ongoing progress monitoring. A Master’s in School Psychology and an active Texas license are required; bilingual skills are preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in School Psychology from an accredited program.
• Active Texas license to practice as a School Psychologist.
• Internship completed in School Psychology.
• Bilingual skills preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological and psycho-educational evaluations to determine eligibility for services.
• Review findings with parents and district personnel, offering clear guidance.
• Collaborate with ARD committee to design targeted interventions that improve student performance.
• Deliver therapy services per students' IEPs.
• Maintain accurate progress records and adjust interventions as needed.
• Participate in ARD meetings and parent conferences to advocate for students' needs.
