Job summary

Soliant Health seeks an Occupational Therapist to support a busy school environment near Buffalo Grove, IL. This 37.5-hour contract runs Aug 12, 2026 through Nov 3, 2026, serving early intervention and elementary students with a manageable caseload.

Responsibilities include evaluations, developing intervention plans, collaborating with teachers, families, and related service providers, and maintaining compliant records.

Qualifications

• Illinois OT license required.
• Experience in a school-based setting.
• Experience with EI and elementary-aged students.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to tailor interventions to diverse student needs.
• Organizational skills for documentation and workload management.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and consultative OT services to ~25 students.
• Perform evaluations and develop individualized plans.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers.
• Monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed.
• Maintain accurate records per school/state guidelines.
• Attend meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams.
