Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing seeks an Occupational Therapist for a full-time elementary school in Algonquin, IL. The contract runs August to mid-October with orientation scheduled for early August, supporting students in need within resource and self-contained classrooms.

You will develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals and collaborate with teachers, staff and families to maximize student independence and participation in daily activities.

Qualifications

• Active Illinois Occupational Therapist license (IDFPR) required.
• Experience in school environment or with children preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to elementary resource and self-contained classrooms.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs and IEP goals.
• Collaborate regularly with teachers, support staff, and families to optimize student outcomes.
• Document assessments, treatment plans, and progress in compliance with standards.
• Attend orientation in early August to prepare for the school year.
