Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a full-time itinerant contract across a diverse school district near Elgin, IL. Job description

Make a meaningful impact supporting students across a diverse school district near Elgin, IL as an Occupational Therapist on a full-time contract assignment for the upcoming academic year. As an itinerant OT, youll provide essential therapy services at multiple schools (elementary through high school), working with students ages PreK through transition age (up to 22). Each day brings new opportunities as you collaborate with dedicated educators and help students achieve greater independence and success in their school environments.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Active Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) clinical license required
  • Active Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) educator license required
  • Previous experience in a school setting is highly preferred
  • Comfort with an itinerant schedule, traveling between various assigned school sites
  • Ability to work with a wide range of ages and caseloads, adapting strategies as needed

Key Responsibilities:

This dynamic contract begins August 27, 2026, and continues through June 9, 2027, with schedules tailored to the unique calendars of multiple school sites (averaging 35-37.5 hours per week). Every day, youll play an integral role in supporting student growth and participation.
