Job summary

Memphis Shelby County Schools is seeking a dedicated Cafeteria Worker to assist the School Nutrition Supervisor in preparing and serving nutritious meals for students and staff in a clean, sanitary environment.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, the ability to pass a background check and TB test, and at least six months of quantity food preparation or related experience. You will follow recipes, operate serving lines, stock supplies, and help ensure HACCP compliance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals for students and staff according to menu and recipes.

• Maintain cleanliness of preparation, serving, and storage areas.
• May operate a point-of-sale terminal and assist with cashier duties.
• Adhere to HACCP regulations and district policies; complete records as required.
