Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related field (Hotel and Restaurant Administration, Nutrition, Dietetics, Food Service Systems Management).
• Five (5) or more years of relevant experience required.
• Must obtain a ServSafe or approved Food Safety Management Certificate within 3 months of hire.
• School food services and/or culinary experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the day-to-day operations of the School Nutrition Services (SNS) Department in support of policy and regulations.
• Monitors and approves, processes, reports, and audits to assure quality production for school food service.
• Supervises and supports 60-100 staff across 12-18 school sites and develops KPI-driven strategies.
• Establishes measurable financial objectives and manages revenue accounting and projections.
• Recruits, trains, and disciplines staff in accordance with policies; handles hiring and workers' compensation.
• Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal guidelines and wellness policies.
• Develops and implements marketing strategies and quality assurance plans; coordinates kitchen maintenance and inventories.

Education
