Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree in culinary arts or comparable field plus two years of supervisory experience.

• Experience supervising in a food service environment is applicable.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates or directs purchasing, food planning, preparation and serving; manages inventory and sanitation in service areas.
• Prepares work schedules for staff and patients.
• Reviews menus, interprets recipes and plans modified diets per policy.
• Conducts staff meetings and reviews operations; maintains records and reports.
• Analyzes food costs and assists with departmental budget considerations.
