Job summary

Vallivue School District is seeking a part-time Nutrition Services Supervisor to coordinate the school kitchen and cafeteria operations. The role focuses on preparing nutritious meals, ensuring safety and cleanliness, and upholding federal and state guidelines.

The position requires high school diploma or GED, and prior cafeteria food-service experience as determined by the Board. You will work under the Nutrition Services Supervisor and Building Principal to support students and staff.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Kitchen and food operations: prepare daily meals on time per menu and safety standards.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness in kitchen and cafeteria.
• Prepare food using tested recipes; ensure quality in flavor and appearance.
• Coordinate storage, temperatures, and serving quantities; assist in serving.
• Oversee inventory, record usage, and secure food and supplies.
• Collaborate with nurse on dietary needs and allergies; work with principals and custodians.
• Maintain health, safety, and sanitation; participate in training and inservices.
