Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. in Madera, CA is hiring a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to support a pediatric patient requiring G-tube, trach, and ventilator care in a school setting. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8am–4pm, with a pay rate of $32 per hour.

Candidates must hold an active LVN license in California and have at least one year of LVN experience; TB test or chest X-ray and BLS certification are required (training provided where noted).

Qualifications

• Currently licensed LVN in the state of practice.
• TB test or chest X-ray current (or completed with provided costs).
• Current BLS certification (course offered with costs covered).

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Provide skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data and document nursing diagnoses.
