Job summary

Sun Valley Academy is seeking a part-time Food Service Worker to support students during lunch periods at our Avondale campus. The role involves supervising students, assisting with meal routines, and maintaining a clean, safe multipurpose lunch environment.

The position requires a High school diploma or equivalent, at least one year of experience with children, and the ability to obtain a Level One IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card. Hours are 10:15 A.M.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students during lunch periods and ensure proper behavior.
• Check students' names off of assigned lunch rosters.
• Assist lower grade students with opening food and drink containers.
• Monitor students and help maintain a safe and orderly lunch environment.
• Wipe and clean tables throughout the lunch periods.
• Sweep and mop the multipurpose room as needed.
• Collect and dispose of waste to maintain a clean and sanitary environment.
• Assist school staff with student supervision and lunch-related routines.
