Responsibilities

Supervise and assist in planning, preparation, and service of food.
Collect information and maintain operational records.
Manage ordering, receiving, and storing food and non-food materials via computer or phone direct to vendors.
Provide training for satellite kitchen personnel and supervise rotation of kitchen positions.
Promote positive public relations with students, staff, and the school community.
Provide oral and annual written evaluations of satellite kitchen employees.
Direct food service activities in compliance with regulations.
Maintain equipment and arrange repairs with school personnel.
Assist in interviewing and training kitchen staff.
Keep records of employee hours and arrange substitutes.
Manage student accounts, ala carte sales and deposits.
Complete other duties as assigned.
