• Maintain equipment and arrange repairs with school personnel.
• Assist in interviewing and training kitchen staff.
• Keep records of employee hours and arrange substitutes.
• Manage student accounts, ala carte sales and deposits.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:

• Direct food service program activities in compliance with federal, state, and local governmental regulations.
• Maintain equipment through daily care and arrange repairs through school personnel.
• Assist in interviewing and training of kitchen personnel.
• Keep records of employee hours and call for substitutes.
• Assume responsibility for student accounts, ala carte sales and deposit of cash.
• Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Work Environment and Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to frequently walk and stand. The ability to hear and see in order to communicate effectively as well as communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing; Maintain effective audio/visual discrimination and perception to the degree necessary for the successful performance of assigned duties; Maintain mental capacity, allowing for effective interaction and communication with others.

Terms of Employment: Ten (10) months

Hours: 6:00am - 2:00pm (40 hrs / week)

Evaluation: Annual written evaluation by the Supervisor.
