Job summary

Mandan Public Schools is seeking a Full-Time Kitchen Supervisor to assist in satellite kitchens and lead the kitchen team under supervision. You will manage food preparation, storage, records, and training to ensure high-quality, safe, nutritious meals for students.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and at least three years of institutional food service experience. Valid ND driver’s license and food safety certification are required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of federal, state, and local food handling regulations.
• Experience supervising kitchen staff and food preparation operations.

Responsibilities

• Supervises staff at a district satellite or prep kitchen; ensures work products meet quality and safety standards.
• Monitors operations; enforces MPS policies and procedures.
• Oversees safe, nutritious food presentation and distribution.
• Estimates quantities; places food orders as needed.
• Adheres to serving sizes and USDA meal requirements.
• Trains and schedules staff; maintains records and confidentiality.
