Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supervise and assist in planning, preparation, and service of food.
• Collect information and maintain operational records.
• Order, receive, and store food and non-food materials on computer or by phone direct to vendors.
• Provide training for satellite kitchen personnel and supervise in rotation of kitchen positions.
• Promote positive public relations with students, building staff, and school community.
• Provide oral evaluation and annual written evaluation of employees in satellite kitchen.
• Direct food service program activities in compliance with regulations.
• Maintain equipment through daily care and arrange repairs.
• Assist in interviewing and training of kitchen personnel.
• Keep records of employee hours and call for substitutes.
• Manage student accounts, ala carte sales and deposits.
