Job summary

Taher, Inc. is seeking a dynamic supervisor to lead kitchen operations in a school/corporate dining setting. You will ensure meals are prepared to standards, manage ordering and inventory, and maintain a clean, safe kitchen environment.

Ideal candidates have supervisory experience, the ability to work independently, and strong computer skills. This full-time role offers Mon-Fri daytime shifts with no nights or weekends, plus growth opportunities within Taher’s food service teams.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Able to follow spoken and written directions.
• Able to lift 30 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Ensure USDA regulations are followed.
• Prepare and verify meals meet quality standards.
• Manage ordering, receiving, storing, and inventory of perishables per HACCP.
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly paperwork.
• Control waste and manage costs to budget.
• Maintain clean, safe kitchen environment; monitor food/labor costs.
• Follow standardized recipes and monitor menu costs.
• Work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain safety at all times; perform duties assigned by leadership.
