The role emphasizes collaboration with school staff, adherence to schedules, and a passion for food justice. Weekday hours, no nights or weekends, at multiple locations across the Philadelphia area.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional culinary experience in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Strong hands-on cooking skills and the ability to follow recipes.
• Solid knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to organize prep and service tasks and manage timing.
• Excellent communication and reliable follow-through.
• Able to work collaboratively and independently.
• Willing to obtain location-specific food safety certification.

Responsibilities

• Culinary execution: contribute to culturally relevant menus and prepare high-quality dishes.
• Food safety and sanitation: maintain safe kitchen practices and logs.
• Meal presentation: plate meals attractively and ensure on-time service.
