Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and at least one year related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Prior experience in food service lead positions strongly preferred.
• Communicate fluently in English, both written and spoken.
• Able to read, comprehend and interpret safety instructions and operating procedures.
• Proficient with computers and able to enter data and run reports.

Responsibilities

• Assist in opening and closing the kitchen daily and setting up equipment.
• Pan and prepare food for cooking and meal service.
• Transport breakfast items and supplies to designated areas.
• Cook and portion meals for each lunch period.
• Assist serving students and maintaining sanitary kitchen conditions.
• Maintain daily paperwork and inventory for kitchen operations.
• Attend to safety and sanitary rules and regulations for food handling.
