Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• Experience in quantity food preparation; school or institutional food service preferred.
• Possess a current driver’s license and ServSafe certificate.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English; Spanish communication preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work under the kitchen manager and Nutrition Services Supervisor to plan and implement food service needs.
• Assist in the preparation of food including baked goods, entrees and salad bars.
• Assist in the serving of meals and maintain sanitation standards in all areas.
• Assist in counting inventory and ensuring supplies for future menu items.
• Provide food for catering when ordered and supervise student workers as needed.
