Job summary

Sartell High School is seeking a Food Service Worker for the dish room and related kitchen duties. The role involves supporting the lunch program, washing dishes, restocking, and maintaining a clean serving area in a fast-paced school setting.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, be comfortable working in all kitchen positions, and adhere to food safety and sanitation standards while delivering friendly customer service to students and staff.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Willing to work in all kitchen positions.
• Strong customer service and sanitation practices.

Responsibilities

• Fill the dishwasher, remove clean dishes and restock in the kitchen.
• Serve food according to procedures, monitor portions, and respect allergy restrictions with proper utensils and sanitation.
• Daily set-up and clean-up of serving area, stocking products, portioning ala carte items, and cleaning/sanitizing.
• Responsible for daily food storage, including rotation, labeling, temperature checks and expiration dates.
• Clean and sanitize tables between lunch shifts.
