Job summary

Range I ($18.15/hr)

Sartell-St. Stephen School District is currently hiring friendly, customer‑service oriented staff members to work in a fast‑paced environment. The Food Service Worker will be cross‑trained in several kitchen areas.

Essential Functions:

• Fill the dishwasher, remove clean dishes and restock in the kitchen.
• Serve food according to established procedures while maintaining a neat and clean serving area. Use proper utensils and monitor portion sizes. Maintain alertness to student allergy restrictions while serving and practice food safety and sanitation techniques.
• Daily set‑up and clean‑up of serving area, including stocking products, portioning cart items, and cleaning and sanitizing the area.
• Responsible for daily food storage, including rotation of products, labeling, temperature control, and monitoring expiration dates of food items.
• Clean and sanitize tables between lunch shifts.

Physical Demands: Stand continuously, walk frequently, reach with arms/hands frequently, stoop/kneel occasionally; lift up to 20 pounds frequently, lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Requirements: HS Diploma or equivalent and must be willing to work in all positions.
