Job summary

St. Cloud School District 742 is seeking a Kitchen Helper to assist in food preparation, meal service, dishwashing, cashiering, and cleaning for students and staff. The hourly role offers varied hours based on program needs and requires a high school diploma with 1–3 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1–3 years' work-related experience is required.
• Bilingual ability is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food as directed by head cooks.
• Set up serving lines and serve food to students and staff.
• Keep service areas and food dispensers cleaned and stocked.
• Count and record quantities of food sold.
• Compile food and supply orders.
• Receive money for cash sales in ala carte line.
• Assist with cleaning the kitchen and equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.
