Job summary

Questeq Inc. is seeking an experienced on-site Information Technology Specialist to support the Carlisle Area School District. You will install, image, troubleshoot, and update desktops, laptops and mobile devices across the district technology ecosystem.

Responsibilities include managing patches, configuring workstation images, enforcing AD policies, and providing timely help-desk support while staying current with security updates and new tech trends within a school environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred with IT focus.
• Experience supporting computer and network environments.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proven troubleshooting capabilities across systems.
• Ability to perform well in a demanding, fast-paced setting.
• Excellent interpersonal communication for internal/external partners.

Responsibilities

• New computer setup including imaging, software installation, hardware upgrades and troubleshooting.
• Conducts problem identification and resolution with a focus on help desk ticket resolution.
• Develops desktop strategies and configuration alternatives to meet customer needs.
• Architects, create, deploy and maintain standard workstation images for desktops and laptops.
• Architects and implements patch distribution management (desktop).
• Ensures workstation OS has the latest security updates and BIOS/driver maintenance.
• Understanding Active Directory group policies and maintaining application groups.
• Provides ongoing hardware and software support for all technologies.
• Addresses help desk tickets efficiently and in a timely manner.
• Troubleshoots and resolves technology failures, documenting required changes.
• Responsible for managing multiple priorities including tickets, projects and other assigned tasks.
• Keeps current with technology trends and changes related to position.
