Job summary

Questeq seeks an experienced Network Administrator (On-Site) for the Lower Dauphin School District. You will plan, implement, and maintain the district's technology infrastructure, focusing on data center systems and enterprise network connectivity.

This is a full-time, day-shift role in a multi-location environment. You will establish server redundancy, manage backups, and oversee Active Directory, SIS, LMS, and related services, while collaborating with our NOC for core networking components

Qualifications

• Three years of experience designing, installing and supporting local and wide area networks.
• Strong prioritization and project management skills are required.
• Experience with Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy.
• Familiarity with SCCM and cloud technologies (Azure/EMS) is desirable.
• Proficiency in IP routing, bandwidth management and wireless networks.
• Solid written and verbal communication and customer service skills.
• Experience with desktop, network, server and peripheral device maintenance.
• Ability to perform hardware and software rollouts and learn new systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide network infrastructure support for a multi-location school district.
• Manage servers and OS, including physical and virtual instances.
• Maintain server availability with monitoring, planning and change control.
• Establish redundancy and failover for virtualization.
• Configure backups for server instances and databases.
• Administer Active Directory and domain contexts for users and devices.
• Support SIS, Gradebook, LMS, email, library, and other hosted apps.
• Collaborate with NOC to maintain core networking components.
• Troubleshoot Tier 3 issues and coordinate with vendors as needed.
• Manage help desk queues with standard response thresholds.
