Job summary

Questeq Inc. is seeking an On-Site Information Technology Specialist to join the Lower Dauphin School District.

You will provide comprehensive desktop and mobile support across our educational environment, imaging workstations, applying software updates, and ensuring secure, up-to-date systems. The role requires hands-on experience with Active Directory, Windows OS, IOS devices, and strong customer-facing communication skills.

Qualifications

Associate degree in a technically related field preferred.
Experience providing computer and network support.
Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
Extensive troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work well in a demanding and fast-paced environment.
Excellent interpersonal skills for internal and external communications.

Responsibilities

New computer setup including imaging, software installation, hardware upgrades and troubleshooting.
Problem identification and resolution with focus on help desk tickets.
Develop desktop strategies and configuration alternatives to meet customer needs.
Create, deploy and maintain standard workstation images for desktops and laptops.
Manage patch distribution and ensure OS updates and BIOS/driver maintenance.
Understand Active Directory group policies and maintain application groups.
Interact with customers by phone and in person.
Provide ongoing hardware and software support for all technologies.
Triage tickets and manage multiple priorities efficiently.
