Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field required.
• Successful K-12 teaching experience with demonstrated impact on student learning.
• Experience coaching or facilitating adult learning with educators.
• Ability to collaborate with principals, instructional leaders, and teachers in a school improvement context.
• Strong coaching and communication skills with growth-focused feedback.
• Ability to analyze instructional data to inform coaching decisions.
• Professionalism, adaptability, and reflective practice with openness to feedback.

Responsibilities

• Partner with principals and instructional leadership teams to plan, implement, and monitor school improvement goals and steps.
• Design and facilitate job-embedded professional learning aligned to priorities and focus areas; provide coaching and modeling to strengthen teaching practices.
• Support schools in translating district priorities into focused, actionable instructional practices.
• Participate in regular improvement science cycles: problem identification, root cause analysis, testing ideas, and learning from results.
• Engage in respectful, candid feedback and coaching to promote growth.
• Serve as the network’s lead expert in a designated focus area (e.g., MTSS/PBIS, literacy, instructional innovation).
• Coordinate with a multidisciplinary network improvement team to reflect on practice and coordinate support across schools.
• Maintain alignment with district priorities and communicate progress to leadership.
