Job summary

Corewell Health in Grand Rapids seeks a School Health Advocate to provide direct student care under the School Nurse's delegation, administer medications, and respond to emergencies as part of the School Health Advocacy Program.

You will work with school staff, families and community partners to remove barriers to care, promote immunizations, and improve overall student health and well-being through coordinated services. Strong documentation and FERPA compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years of relevant experience.
• CRT-First Aid and CRT-CPR certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct student health care as delegated by the RN.
• Administer medications as scheduled or needed per policy.
• Coordinate with school staff and families to access community resources.
• Document services and maintain FERPA-compliant records.
