Job summary

Corewell Health is hiring for a School Health Advocate role at the Grand Rapids site. The position provides direct student care under RN delegation, including first aid, medication administration and emergency response for school children through the School Health Advocacy Program.

Responsibilities include coordinating with the RN, school staff, families and community resources to support student health and well-being, and educating clients and the community related to health program focus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years of relevant experience.
• CRT-First Aid - AHA 90 Days.
• CRT-CPR - AHA 90 Days.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the school health office primary contact for health related needs.
• Provides direct student health care as delegated by the RN and documents services.
• Administers scheduled, as needed and emergency medications under the RN delegation.
• Coordinates with school staff and families to support students’ health needs.
• Maintains FERPA-compliant communication and records.
