Richland County School District One in South Carolina is seeking a part-time Student Food Service Operator to prepare and serve breakfast and lunch for students. The role reports to the Manager of Student Nutrition Services and requires strict adherence to safety standards and quality guidelines.

Responsibilities include setting up serving lines, maintaining cleanliness, operating kitchen equipment, and assisting with related duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma with six months experience in commercial food preparation.
• Food safety certification (ServSafe and/or HACCP) required within 6 months.

Responsabilités

• Prepares and serves student breakfasts and lunches following established procedures and quality standards.
• Sets up serving lines and maintains cleanliness of serving area.
• Cleans, sanitizes and stores utensils, pans and kitchen equipment.
• Operates various kitchen equipment (ovens, steamers, mixers, slicer, etc.).
• May perform cashier duties and assist co-workers as needed.
