Qualifikationen

• Requires six months of experience in commercial food preparation or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Aufgaben

• Prepares and cooks food items for student meals in the prescribed quantity and as scheduled; monitors cooking times and temperatures.
• Sets up serving lines and maintains cleanliness of serving area; serves food in appropriate quantities.
• Cleans, sanitizes and stores utensils, pans, and kitchen equipment; maintains hygiene in kitchen and dining areas.
• Inspects daily food and supply deliveries for quantity and quality.
• Operates a variety of kitchen equipment including ovens, steamers, dishwashers, mixers, slicers and scales.
• Interacts with supervisor, co-workers, school personnel and students.
