Job summary

Scottsdale Unified School District is seeking a Facilities Supervisor responsible for custodial and routine to semi-skilled maintenance at a high school facility. You will oversee custodial staff or contractors and ensure a clean, safe, orderly environment, coordinating event setups and responding to emergencies.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED with two years of maintenance experience; a valid Arizona driver’s license is needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; two years of relevant maintenance experience or equivalent.
• Experience supervising custodial staff or contractors preferred.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and facility operation standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversees district custodial workers or contractors and assigns work; supports training and performance input.
• Inspects facilities to ensure systems and equipment operate properly and meet standards.
• Maintains and services district equipment and facilities; coordinates preventative maintenance and repairs.
• Responds to emergencies and coordinates with staff, vendors, and administrators as needed.
• Prepares schedules, logs, and reports; coordinates events, gymnasiums, auditoriums, and athletic facilities.
