Echo Canyon K-8 is seeking a Facilities Coordinator II to manage custodial and maintenance tasks, oversee staff or contractors, and ensure a clean, safe school environment in Scottsdale, AZ. The role includes coordinating events, monitoring systems, and responding to emergencies.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED with two years of related maintenance experience, plus a valid Arizona driver's license. Salary is paid as hourly with a standard 8-hour day.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. and two years of relevant maintenance experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversees district staff or contractors, prioritizes work, and supports staff training.
• Inspects facilities to ensure systems meet district standards.
• Monitors and maintains district equipment and facilities for proper operation and safety.
• Provides customer service to staff, administrators, parents, vendors, and visitors.
• Coordinates facility activities, event setup/teardown, and gym maintenance.
• Responds to emergency situations.
• Prepares schedules, work orders, logs, and reports; updates records.
• Participates in facilities expansion/renovation design meetings.
• Coordinates staffing for middle school athletics and events.
• Performs other related duties as needed.
