Job summary

Scottsdale Unified School District is seeking entry-level facilities services personnel to perform custodial, building and grounds maintenance, or general labor tasks across district facilities. Responsibilities include cleaning restrooms, vacuuming, trash removal, grounds upkeep, and basic repairs; operate light equipment as needed.

Requires a High School Diploma or GED and a valid Arizona driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential duties.
• Valid Arizona Driver’s License.
• Knowledge of safe work practices and basic maintenance procedures.

Responsibilities

• Performs manual labor activities, including: emptying trash cans, gathering materials, sweeping, moving furniture, and cleaning restrooms.
• Assists in maintenance and simple repairs; notifies supervisors of needed facility or equipment repairs.
• Performs routine grounds maintenance such as trash pickup, sweeping walkways, and planting bed care.
• Under supervision, assists with routine tasks and special projects as required.
