Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, or G.E.D., and two years of relevant maintenance experience; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential duties.

Responsibilities

• Oversees district employees or contracted workers, prioritizing and assigning work; provides input for performance and evaluations; ensures staff are trained.
• Inspects facilities to ensure systems and equipment meet standards.
• Monitors, services, troubleshoots and maintains district equipment and facilities; ensures security of buildings.
• Provides customer service by responding to requests from staff, administrators, parents, vendors, visitors, students.
• Coordinates facility activities, sets up for events, and coordinates after-school athletics and events.
• Responds to emergency situations.
• Reviews schedules, work orders and logs, compiles data, and submits information to appropriate personnel.
• Participates in expansion/renovation design activities and meetings.
