Job summary

Krum ISD is seeking a dedicated Custodian to clean and maintain district facilities, ensuring safety, cleanliness and efficient operation of buildings and grounds. The role reports to the Custodial Services Supervisor/Principal and supports daily site operations across campus.

Responsibilities include following cleaning schedules, performing preventive maintenance, operating cleaning equipment, and assisting with event setups.

Qualifications

• Education/Certification: None specified.
• Ability to read and understand cleaning, maintenance, and safety procedures.
• Knowledge of minor repair techniques and building/grounds maintenance.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment and lift heavy equipment.
• Ability to properly handle cleaning supplies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a cleaning schedule for floors, chalkboards, wastebaskets, windows, furniture and restrooms.
• Keep building and grounds neat and clean, including sidewalks and parking areas.
• Comply with local laws for trash storage and disposal.
• Assist in maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
