Job summary

Spring Branch Independent School District seeks a Custodian to perform routine cleaning and maintenance to maintain a high standard of safety, cleanliness, and efficiency of building operations and grounds. Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, polishing floors, removing trash, cleaning furniture and performing minor repairs.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, custodial experience preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Ability to read BASIC English and follow instructions for cleaning, maintenance and safety procedures.
• Ability to work effectively with school administrators, students, staff, contractors and community.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a cleaning schedule for floors, chalkboards, wastebaskets, windows, furniture and restrooms.
• Dust and mop interior hallways at scheduled times.
• Keep building and grounds neat and clean, including sidewalks and parking areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.
