Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; trade training desirable.
• Ability to comply with environmental, health, and safety laws and building codes.
• Skill/experience in maintenance/repair procedures (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, etc.).
• Experience with building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, security).
• Multi‑school or closely related maintenance experience.
• Valid driver’s license; extra compensation for holding building trades licenses.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots issues and performs maintenance and repair duties.
• Regulates HVAC systems and monitors energy usage; assists with boiler prep.
• Maintains motors and other equipment with scheduled servicing.
• Assists with snow removal and maintains related equipment.
• Monitors safety equipment and prepares for inspections.
• Produces and maintains maintenance records; submits paperwork on time.
• Coordinates with the Director of Facilities & Operations on major repairs.
• Responds to emergencies and upholds safety procedures.
• Assists with event setup and community activities; supports rental groups.
