Job summary

Richfield Public Schools is seeking a full-time Districtwide Maintenance Mechanic for 1st shift to troubleshoot, maintain, repair and monitor the District's mechanical systems. The role supports safe, efficient operations across school facilities, grounds and infrastructure to provide a conducive learning environment.

Applicants should have a High School diploma or GED, plus two years of relevant experience or formal post-secondary training.

Qualifications

• Experience with maintaining HVAC, security, fire protection and other physical plant systems.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems to ensure safety and readiness.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain, repair and monitor the District's mechanical systems.
• Perform a variety of maintenance tasks on school facilities, grounds and mechanical systems.
• Ensure safe, presentable, comfortable and functional environments for students, staff and visitors.
