Hebrew Academy of Cleveland is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead on-site facilities operations, ensuring a safe, clean, and functional learning environment. The role reports to the Facilities Director and requires hands-on maintenance, strong knowledge of building systems, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while coordinating vendors, events, and daily school operations.

The position is full-time and on-site, with occasional evenings or weekends as needed to support school events

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance, facilities, or site operations.
• Strong working knowledge of building systems.
• Hands-on maintenance ability and multi-tasking.
• Reliable, safety-focused and service-oriented.

Responsabilités

• Manage day-to-day building operations, maintenance, and custodial activities
• Perform and coordinate routine maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance
• Monitor HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and safety systems; troubleshoot issues as needed
• Respond promptly to facility issues and emergencies
• Coordinate vendors and contractors for repairs and services
• Support room setups, events, and daily school operations
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and facility standards
• Serve as the primary on-site contact for facilities-related needs
