RUPPEL ACADEMIE FRANCAISE in Gretna, LA is seeking a Plant Manager to oversee building operations, custodial services, and routine maintenance across multiple facilities. The role requires coordinating with the Director of Plant Services, managing emergencies, and ensuring safety and appearance of all buildings.

The ideal candidate has custodial experience, strong communication and analytical skills, and a collaborative management style.

Qualifications

Requires detail-oriented, independent work style and the ability to raise student achievement.
Strong communication across settings and ability to motivate staff and stakeholders.
Analytical and problem-solving skills using data to drive decisions.
Collaborative management working with diverse individuals at all levels.
Valid Louisiana driver's license and knowledge of driving laws.
Ability to operate a manual transmission.

Responsabilités

Opens building in morning; secures building in afternoon.
Operates heating and air conditioning systems; ensures proper ventilation.
Maintains cleanliness and safety of halls and entrances; supervises custodial staff.
Repairs minor maintenance issues and reports safety concerns to principal.
Maintains grounds and reports vandalism; ensures equipment safety.
