Job summary

Priority Management Group, LLC's facility in Lafayette, LA is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee environmental services and the center's maintenance program, ensuring sanitary, safe, and well-maintained conditions in line with regulations.

You will supervise maintenance staff, manage work orders, coordinate with nursing and infection control, perform routine checks on electrical, HVAC, and safety systems, and respond to emergencies, audits, and fire drills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma preferred.
• One to two years of supervisory experience in a commercial establishment with knowledge of maintenance procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supervises maintenance staff and daily work in assigned areas to ensure standards and control of costs.
• Maintains records of maintenance activities, parts, supplies, and equipment.
• Executes preventive maintenance program and keeps documentation up to date.
• Coordinates with residents, nurses, physicians and staff on environmental services requests and issues.
• Performs routine maintenance and repairs following applicable regulations and building codes.
• Checks and maintains safety systems, lighting, and environmental controls; responds to emergencies as needed.
• Identifies contractors for major repairs and coordinates with management on improvements.
• Attends staff meetings and participates in policy/procedure development.
